Platform Examples
In 2006, SWB identified an emerging need to support grassroots educators and learning communities with "back-office" administrative supports. Whether it be managing finances, HR, insurance or legal matters, SWB developed a "Platform" that would support young leaders to run their educational projects more effectively. Below are testimonials, examples and models of how the "Platform" works and its impacts.
"I think that the financial system SWB has implemented takes the organization, as well as all the groups it supports to a more professional level. I feel like a real entrepreneur when I enter the SWB office and they have the Lost Lyrics financial statements for me. As a coordinator, it makes my job a lot easier to manage when I do not have to worry about where to place and organize every single little receipt and finance. Now I am able to see the overall larger picture of our finances and learn better accounting skills. In the youth sector, we need to have more support for financial literacy. Reading my budgets is a like a new language that defines Lost Lyrics. Our staff is able to read the progress of Lost Lyrics in another language, one that is transparent to the way we financially support our students, staff and community. I look forward to seeking more counsel from SWB about our finances and attending more financial literacy workshops to ensure I can use these skills in whatever format I work in." - Natasha Daniel, Co-Founder & Co-Director - Lost Lyrics "From the Streets to the Classroom"

Organizational Overview Example
Here's an example of an Organizational Overview by the Young Diplomats. It's a great sample that's one page, in point-form, with as little repetition as possible.
Global Budget Sample
There's power in numbers!! Financial literacy has been identified as a major gap in our education system. SWB addresses this by training young people to create income statements, cashflow projections and manage expenses. Below is an example of the "Global Budgets" we support educators and organizations to create.
