Presented by IBM and hosted at Massey College in March 2009, this dinner gathered over 100 dedicated professional women from the GTA. These women came together to share stories, laugh and celebrate with one another the importance of female solidarity for change at the local and global level. The event raised over $12,000 for the Safe Spaces Programs operating in Kenya and Botswana. Safe Spaces is a sustainable programming platform, which trains and mentors young women in sexual health, life-skills and vocational training.
